Cambodia Cries Foul, Urges US, Sweden, and South Korea to Halt Arms Sales to Thailand
Cambodia has lodged a protest, calling on the United States, Sweden, and South Korea to suspend the sale and transfer of weapons to Thailand.
Dr. Kin Phea, Director-General of the Institute of International Relations of Cambodia (IRIC), claimed that Thailand had deployed F-16 fighter jets, Gripen aircraft, and T-50 trainer jets to strike targets deep inside Cambodian territory.
He further accused Thailand of conducting indiscriminate attacks and attempting to smear Cambodia by portraying the operations as justified, despite the alleged violations of Cambodian sovereignty.
